Anastasija Kiake

Anastasija Kiake is a Danish-Russian photographer and multi-disciplinary artist.

Currently studying Photographic Communication at the Danish School of Media & Journalism, her work focuses on portraiture, advertising and conceptual photography. Often drawing inspiration from the Bauhaus movement and political literature, Anastasija meticulously examines issues of identity, the importance of cultural heritage and the longing for a homeland, as reflected in her photo essay Here I Am, a series of thoughtful and brutally honest portraits of Inuits residing in Denmark.
